Blue Rodeo To Throw A Street Party For The Launch Of The Double Album, The Things We Left Behind.
Band To Perform Public Rooftop Performance In Toronto On Tuesday, November 10, 2009 At 2:30PM On Top Of Diesel Playhouse

To celebrate the launch of their ambitious double album, The Things We Left Behind, Warner Music Canada recording artists Blue Rodeo are going to throw a street party in their hometown of Toronto. The band will perform for fans from the roof of the Diesel Playhouse (55 Blue Jays Way) at 2:30pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. The City of Toronto is closing off both Blue Jays Way and Mercer Street that afternoon for the special public performance.
The things we left behind, the bandÃ¢€™s 12th studio recording, is to be released on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. With 16 songs spread over two discs the new album is the most ambitious recording of the bandÃ¢€™s 25 year career. The album will be available in a number of different configurations including two CDs, double vinyl and a special itunes LP, a digital package that will include interactive album notes, exclusive photos of the band and portraits of their most prized instruments, a song by song commentary from Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor and a special acoustic performance of four new songs from the album.
Earlier this week blue rodeo announced the dates for their 2010 tour of canada . Tickets for the canadian tour go on sale through www.bluerodeo.com on November 9, 2009 and through www.livenation.com on November 13 and 14, 2009.
