Tomi Swick Returns with Self-Titled Album!
March 01 2012

TOMI SWICK RETURNS WITH SELF-TITLED ALBUM JUNO AWARD WINNER’S SOPHOMORE ALBUM SLATED FOR MARCH 26th RELEASE Warner Music Canada recording artist and 2007 Juno Award winner Tomi Swick has announced the release of his sophomore self-titled album, arriving in stores and at all digital retailers on March 26th. Swick will also be performing in Toronto on March 23 at Cabin 5 as part of Canadian Music Week. TOMI SWICK marks the return to music following a period of health issues for the Canadian troubadour. It is Swick’s first album since the release of Stalled Out In The Doorway in 2006. While Swick wasn’t able to sing while he recovered from his throat surgery, he spent time in Los Angeles, writing dozens of new songs. As soon as he was able, Swick boarded a plane to London to begin recording. Produced by Chris Potter (The Verve), the album features performances by drummer Steve White (Paul Weller, Oasis), bassist Damon Minchella (Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller), guitarist Jeff Wootton (Gorillaz, Beady Eye), keyboardist Tim Wills (Ian Brown, Brian Eno) and pianist Rico Petrillo (Richard Ashcroft). The album features “December Sky,” an incredible duet recorded with Julian Lennon in New York on December 8, 2010. Although Tomi wrote the lyrics about a girl, they spoke to Julian Lennon in a different way. Tomi notes, “Everyone knew he was talking to his dad. You could feel it.” Video of the recording session can be seen here: . TRACK LISTING Tomi Swick TOMI SWICK Release Date: March 26, 2012 1. Recipes 2. Ready 3. No One At All 4.
