Switchfoot Announces Canadian Tour

New Album âHello Hurricaneâ In Stores Now Featuring New Single âMess Of Meâ

Atlantic Records/ Warner Music Canada are pleased to announce that San Diego-based, multi-platinum rock band Switchfoot will kick of 2010 with an 8 date Canadian tour beginning January 13th in Vancouver. Their recently released album, hello hurricane, is their seventh full-length album, and their first album on Atlantic Records.

Hello Hurricane was recorded by the band and produced by renowned hip hop bassist and producer Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Pink, Maroon 5 and Fiona Apple). âI first met mike through Sean Watkins (of Nickel Creek) and we had a jam session together in LA,â remembers Jon Foreman, Switchfootâs lead singer and songwriter. âWe felt like old friends right away.â The result is Hello Hurricane, which follows the bandâs 2006 studio album Oh! Gravity and last yearâs era-ending Columbia Records compilation, the best yet. The band tracked more than 80 songs at their self-built home studios and selected the very best of them for Hello Hurricane, including the lead single âMess of Me.â

The Canadian Tour Will Include The Following Dates:

January 13 Vancouver Commodore Ballroom
January 15 Edmonton The Starlite Room
January 16 Calgary Macewan Ballroom
January 17 Saskatoon Louisâ Pub
