For immediate release

"Don't Wanna Go Home," the new single from multi-platinum-selling singer and songwriter Jason Derulo, is now available for purchase at digital retailers. The track, which the 21-year-old Miami native co-wrote with producers The Fliptones, is off to a blazing start as one of the most added and fastest rising songs at Canadian radio.

The video, which features Melody Thornton from the Pussycat Dolls and was directed by Rich Lee (Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Pussycat Dolls), will have its premiere today on MuchMusic.com and MTV.ca.

"Don't Wanna Go Home" is Derulo's first new music since he established himself as a pop sensation with a string of red-hot hits last year. It is the debut single from Derulo's eagerly awaited second album, Future History, which will be released by Beluga Heights/Warner Music Canada in September. Derulo is currently detailing his journey recording his new album via a series of Future History Webisodes that are posted on his website, www.jasonderulo.com, every Friday.

Derulo ruled the Canadian airwaves last year with his three smash hit singles: the 3x-platinum debut âWhatcha Say,â the 3x-platinum âIn My Head,â and the platinum third single âRidinâ Solo,â all off his self-titled debut album, which is certified gold in Canada. All three songs were multi-format Top 10 hits, with âIn My Headâ holding the No. 1 spot on the CHR/Top 40 chart for four weeks. The Miami-born 21-year-old has sold more than 13 million singles and 850,000 albums worldwide. He has also streamed more than 333 million views on his YouTube Channel, which is in the Top 100 All-Time Most Viewed channels.

In other news, last week Derulo won 5 awards at the 2011 BMI Pop Awards including "Songwriter of the Year" with JR Rotem, who produced his debut album. He also shared the award alongside Lady Gaga.
