Coalition Music recording artists Our Lady Peace have debuted this week in the Top Ten of Canada’s national album sales chart with their latest album, Curve. This is the band’s eighth consecutive album to debut in the Top Ten. Our Lady Peace are the third best-selling Canadian band in the Soundcan era behind only the The Tragically Hip and Nickleback. NeilsonSoundcan measures actual sales of physical and digital music.

Curve was recorded in Toronto and Los Angeles with co-producer Jason Lader (Lader’s impressive resume includes production work on Jay-Z’s “99 Problems,” along with Mars Volta, Julian Casablancas, Rilo Kiley, Elvis Costello and Noah & the Whale). The album’s first single, “Heavyweight” is currently charted at #1 on Canada’s Mainstream Rock radio airplay chart.
