WARNER MUSIC CANADA AND MEASHA BRUEGGERGOSMAN JOIN FORCES
IN A CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS
Juno Award-winning Singer’s first holiday album to be released this Fall
Warner Music Canada is thrilled to announce that they have entered into a partnership with Juno award winning singer Measha Brueggergosman to release a brand-new holiday album this Fall. The as-yet-titled album is being produced by Michael Phillip Wojewoda (Barenaked Ladies, Rheostatics) and features a number of Christmas favourites including “Little Drummer Boy”, “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)” and Joni Mitchell’s beautiful “River.”
Working again with musical director Aaron Davis (Holly Cole), Measha promises a record full of surprising musical twists and turns.
“I am enjoying the freedom to breathe life in to things that people know very well,” says Brueggergosman.
Recording began in Madrid this Spring and has continued at Chalet Studio (Rush, Prairie Oyster, Barenaked Ladies) in Claremont, Ontario. A behind the scenes look at the album recording can be seen here .
The title and release date for the new album will be announced later this summer. Measha has confirmed a series of Christmas concerts across Canada this fall.
