Ron Sexsmith To Perform At Cd Warehouse In Ottawa For Record Store Day, Saturday, April 16, 2011, Noon

For immediate release On Saturday, April 16, 2011 Warner Music Canada recording artist Ron Sexsmith will take time out from his hugely successful North American tour in support of his latest album, Long Player Late Bloomer to participate in the North America-wide Record Store Day. At noon that day he performs an acoustic set for Ottawa fans at CD Warehouse, 1383 Clyde Ave. Ron’s acoustic performance comes the day after he and his band play a full set at the First Baptist Church in Ottawa. Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 as a celebration of the unique culture surrounding independently owned record stores around the world. A number of events, similar to Ron Sexsmith’s acoustic appearance in Ottawa will be taking place in record stores around the world.
