VICTORIA DUFFIELD TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM
âSHUT UP AND DANCEâ AUGUST 21
ALBUM INCLUDES 3 HIT SINGLES, DUET WITH CODY SIMPSON, AND MORE NEW TRACKS

Warner Music recording artist Victoria Duffield has announced plans for the release of her hugely anticipated debut album, SHUT UP AND DANCE. The release will arrive in stores and at all digital retailers on August 21, 2012, just in time for her Canadian tour with Big Time Rush and Cody Simpson.

SHUT UP AND DANCE features the chart-topping title track, the multi-format radio hit âFeel,â and her latest single âBreak My He
art.â

Also included amongst other new tracks is the duet âThey Donât Know About Usâ with Australian pop sensation Cody Simpson. A music video for the track is in the works. Victoria will join Big Time Rush and Cody Simpson on seven Canadian dates, beginning in Montreal on September 4, before wrapping things up in her home province of British Columbia on September 16 at Vancouverâs Rogers Arena.

âBreak My Heartâ follows the success of Victoriaâs first two singles, âShut Up and Danceâ and âFeel.â The brazen dancefloor anthem âShut Up and Danceâ was the most played song at radio by a Canadian artist for nine weeks, achieved platinum-status and reached the top spot on the MuchMusic countdown. The video earned Victoria her first MuchMusic Video Award nomination in the Best Pop Video category. Like âShut Up and Dance,â âFeelâ was a multi-format Top 5 radio hit. The French version, which features Quebec star Jacynthe, reached No. 1 on the Franco radio charts in Quebec.
