BLAKE SHELTON SET TO PERFORM “LONELY TONIGHT” WITH ASHLEY MONROE ON THE VOICE & ABC’S JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE NEXT WEEK December 04 2014
– Blake Shelton, the reigning five-time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year is set to perform his new single, “Lonely Tonight,” featuring Ashley Monroe, on the Monday, Dec. 8 telecast (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) of NBC’s Emmy Award-winning series The Voice.
On Thursday, December 10, Blake will sit down with late night host Jimmy Kimmel as a panel guest. Later in the evening Blake will perform his new single on the Jimmy Kimmel Live outdoor concert stage. Tune in to Jimmy Kimmel Live at at 11:35|10:35 CT on ABC.
Shelton recently broke his own record again with his previous single “Neon Light” becoming his 13th consecutive No. 1. Marking the most consecutive No. 1 songs on the Billboard and Mediabase country charts during the monitored airplay era, "Neon Light" is his 18th No. 1 overall and first single off his latest album BRINGING BACK THE SUNSHINE.
Shelton wrapped his sold-out Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014 earlier this year -- including performances at NYC's Madison Square Garden and Chicago's Wrigley Field Stadium playing to a capacity crowd of over 40,000 fans as only the fourth country artist to have ever played the iconic 100 year-old ball park and LA's historic Hollywood Bowl. As the reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year, Shelton ties the record for consecutive wins in this category with fellow Oklahoman Vince Gill. Joining the ranks of the Grand Ole Opry as a member since 2010, Shelton has earned a host of awards and nominations throughout his career. Shelton returned as a coach for his seventh season of NBC’s Emmy winning reality competition series, The Voice, which premiered September 22nd.
