COURAGE MY LOVE ARE ABOUT TO GET
BIGGER IN JAPAN

For immediate release

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto! Yes, it’s true! Courage My Love have been invited to come play in Japan!

Homeskool Prom Records / Warner Music Canada recording artist Courage My Love have confirmed that they will make their Japanese live debut on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the DUO Music Exchange in Tokyo, Japan. CML will be a part of a four band bill sponsored by the Canadian Independent Music Association. The show will also feature live performances from Hunter Valentine, PS I Love You and The Barr Brothers.

Courage My Love’s debut EP, for now, was released in Japan this past July on Grizz-Rhythms/Spinning Records. Originally released as a 7-song EP in Canada, the Japanese Edition of the record has been expanded to 12 tracks with two videos (“Bridges” and “Barricade”) added to the enhanced CD version.

The band have also announced that they will join Faber Drive on tour this December for 11 dates in Eastern Canada (see below for itinerary).

Courage My Love are twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn (guitars/vocals), Phoenix Arn-Horn (drums/vocals) and David Blake-Dickson (bass/vocals). They were discovered in a local battle of the bands contest and have since cut their teeth and built their audience with fiery live performances. They have torn up the stages of a number of key festivals like the Vans Warped Tour, NXNE and Canadian Music Week while playing alongside the likes of Paramore, Tokyo Police Club and A Day To Remember. Courage My Love recently became the youngest band ever to make it into the finals at the Indie Week Music Festival not once, but two years in a row while Mercedes was voted “Best Guitarist” at Indie Week 2011. In the April issue of Alternative Press Magazine, Courage My Love were pegged as one of the Top 100 Bands To Know in 2012.

Courage My Love have also produced a number of popular broadcast and viral videos (over 2.8 million views on the band’s youtube channel) as well as the podcast series, “Homeskool Detention,” that can be heard on their website, www.ilovecouragemylove.com.
