DAMIEN RICE TO EMBARK ON WORLDWIDE TOUR SUMMMER DATES ADDED MY FAVOURITE FADED FANTASY RELEASED TO WIDESPREAD CRITICAL ACCLAIM; PRODUCED BY RICK RUBIN AND DAMIEN RICE Damien Rice has added further European and U.S. dates to his extensive worldwide tour. Kicking off March 31 at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Rice will make stops at the Beacon Theater in New York City, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, with summer stops at Primavera Festival in Barcelona, Celebrate Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Bandshell, a co-headlining date at Chicago’s Prirzker Pavilion with Iron & Wine and at Belgium’s Rock Werchter Festival. My Favourite Faded Fantasy, the highly-anticipated new album from Rice, is now available and continues to receive critical praise both stateside and abroad. The record debuted #1 in Ireland, #2 in Holland, #3 in Belgium and #7 in the U.K. Rice also performed the album’s single “I Don’t Want to Change You” on “The Late Show with David Letterman”: My Favourite Faded Fantasy was produced by renowned producer Rick Rubin and Rice. The recording began in Los Angeles and finished up in Iceland.
