JUNO-Award winning country artist Brett Kissel has announced that his sophomore album Pick Me Up will be released on September 11, 2015 through Warner Music Canada. Pick Me Up is the follow-up to Brett’s 2013 breakout debut album Started With A Song. Pick Me Up is available to pre-order starting today in both digital and physical formats. A deluxe edition including two bonus tracks will be available exclusively at Walmart.

            Pre-order: iTunes | Amazon | Google Play

The album was produced by CCMA Award-winner Bart McKay, as well as Mickey Jack Cones (Jason Aldean, Trace Adkins). Kissel also invited a few friends to collaborate on the album with him: 5x-Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes plays on “I Can Play Guitar” and Carolyn Dawn Johnson, one of Canada’s most accomplished country artists, lends her voice to the emotional track “I Didn't Fall In Love With Your Hair.”

“Airwaves” – the first single from Pick Me Up – has become Brett’s sixth straight top-10 hit at radio. The video for the track, currently #7 on CMT’s Top 20 Countdown, can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7aaqG5RRxo

Brett heads into this year’s Canadian Country Music Association Awards with four nominations including Male Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. He will also perform on the awards, taking place on September 13 in Halifax.

On August 29, Brett will perform on Nashville’s most legendary stage when he appears on “the show that made country music famous,” the Grand Ole Opry.

This fall, Brett will embark on a cross-Canada two-month tour, hitting every single province. "The Airwaves Tour 2015" will begin October 10 in Simcoe, Ontario, before wrapping up in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, on November 28.
