May 21 2013

THE TIME IS RIGHT FOR ELEVEN PAST ONE, AS BAND
SIGN WITH WARNER MUSIC CANADA

BOWMANVILLE BAND TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE âTONIGHTâS
THE NIGHTâ ON MAY 24

May 16 - Warner Music Canada is pleased to announce the signing of the pop group sensation Eleven Past One.
The Bowmanville, Ontario 5 piece is comprised of Daniel Richter (vocals), Stephen Richter (guitar), Kyle Bykiv (guitar), Steve Patenaude (drums), and Dan Beattie (bass). Since their inception the band has made it their mission to inspire fans and show them that they can accomplish anything they put their mind to. To that end, they recently decided to put their money where their mouths were and left Canada for a one year American tour, bringing nothing but a camper packed to the rafters with Kraft Dinner. This gamble paid off, as the band caught the eye of fans, industry executives and labels.
Since returning home the band have exploded onto the scene with their debut single âThe World Is Ours.â The song, produced by two-time Juno Award winning producer of the year Brian Howes (Nickelback, Hedley, Simple Plan), climbed into the Top 15 at radio. In addition to this, the video, produced by Ben Knechtel (Carly Rae Jepsen, Call Me Maybe), was a Top 5 hit at MuchMusic on its way to racking up over a quarter of a million hits on YouTube.
Of the recent signing with Warner Music Canada, the band said âSigning with Warner Music Canada is a monumental event for us as a band. They are the push we need to take things to the next level.â
Warner Music Canada is equally thrilled to be working with Eleven Past One. âThey are a very impressive group of young men who deliver solid live shows and songs with fantastic hooks,â said Steve Kane, President of Warner Music Canada. âTheyâve also built an amazing team that has already delivered a smash hit at radio, and weâre honoured and excited to be the newest member of that teamâ
âWe're wild and we're young, we're living for today. The world is ours,â the band says in their hit single. To prove it, Eleven Past One continue to look towards the future. They will release their new single âTonightâs The Nightâ on May 24th. On top of this, the band will also be playing a number of festival dates this summer including SceneFest.
