Fresh off a headlining Canadian tour that featured a sold out show at Toronto’s Massey Hall, Atlantic recording artist Cody Simpson returns to Canada next week as the opening act for Justin Bieber in Toronto and Ottawa. On the days prior to each show, the Australian superstar will meet fans at hmv stores in each city to sign copies of his newest album Surfers Paradise (released Tuesday, July 16). Cody will sign autographs on a first-come, first-served basis for fans who purchased Surfers Paradise at each of the signing locations and received one of 500 wristbands that guarantee an autograph. Wristbands are available in Ottawa at hmv Bayshore Shopping Centre and in Toronto at hmv Canada, Toronto Superstore, 333 Yonge St. Line ups at each location commence at 8:00am ET on the day of the event.

Surfers Paradise features 8 tracks including the first single “Pretty Brown Eyes” that has already been certified gold for digital sales in Canada.

Simpson has spent much of the past year on the road, including his currently ongoing North American headline tour which comes to NYC’s Best Buy Theater, with a sold out show, this Thursday, July 18th and is set to wrap July 20th at Boston’s House of Blues. From there, Cody will rejoin Justin Bieber’s world-conquering Believe Tour for a series of sold out shows in such cities as Toronto, Detroit, Newark, Brooklyn, Jacksonville, Tampa, Atlanta, and Washington, DC. In November, Simpson and Bieber will partner once again for a hugely anticipated tour of Cody’s beloved Australia – for up-to-the-minute tour and ticket information, please visit
