PARAMORE ANNOUNCE âTHE SELF-TITLED TOURâ
MAJOR NORTH AMERICAN TREK TO VISIT ARENAS AND AMPHITHEATRES, INCLUDING THREE CANADIAN DATES;
GRAMMY®-NOMINATED BAND SET APPEARANCE
ON FOXâS TEEN CHOICE 2013

Fueled By Ramen recording group Paramore has announced full details of âThe Self-Titled Tour.â The North American trek will hit arenas and amphitheaters this fall, beginning October 15th at Seattleâs KeyArena and then continuing through late November. The tour includes three Canadian dates: October 16th at Vancouverâs PNE Forum, November 18th at Montrealâs Bell Centre and November 20th in Toronto at the Theatre at Air Canada Centre.
On-sale dates and support for the Canadian shows will be announced soon. Support for the U.S. dates comes from Metric and Hellogoodbye. Where available, Paramore selected paperless tickets for some of the best seats in the house. Proven to stop scalping, using paperless tickets ensure fans have the first opportunity to buy tickets.
The eagerly anticipated tour celebrates Paramoreâs new album, âPARAMORE,â which debuted at #1 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its April release. Always a festival favorite, Paramore will be among the top stars appearing at this yearâs Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, November 2-3 in New Orleans.
The video for âStill Into You,â the latest single from âPARAMORE,â has already earned more than 19 million individual views at Paramoreâs official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=OblL026SvD4.
Paramore is currently set to perform âStill Into Youâ as part of their first-ever live appearance on FOXâs annual awards show, Teen Choice 2013, on Sunday, August 11th. The band are among the eventâs leading nominees with a nod for âChoice Music: Rock Groupâ â a category they have already won four times, bringing their total Teen Choice Awards tally to eight and counting.
Paramoreâs first all-new release in more than three years, âPARAMOREâ was greeted with the best reviews of the bandâs already acclaimed career. Nylon â which starred Hayley Williams on the cover â praised the album as âParamoreâs best record yet,â a sentiment echoed by Alternative Press, who featured the full line-up on its cover. âGrandiose without being pompous, spunky without coming off immature,â declared the AP feature story, âthe album seamlessly jumps from sultry electro-rock (âFast In My Carâ) to new jack swing (âAinât It Funâ) to ukulele pop (the three-part interlude series of âMoving On,â âHoliday,â and âIâm Not Angry Anymore)⦠and that doesnât even begin to address the albumâs epic closing track, âFuture,â that you just have to hear to believe.â In addition, Alternative Press awarded âPARAMOREâ its full five stars in a rave review declaring the band as ââ¦one of the finest rock bands in America.â
