Warner Music Canada is pleased to announce a new distribution partnership with Toronto-based Road Angel Entertainment. Led by long-time music industry veteran and CCMA Director Jill Snell-de Cartier, Road Angel was originally conceived as Canada’s first a la carte music company offering label, management, radio promotion, marketing services and public relations by a streamline team on an “as needed” basis. In their new partnership, Warner Music Canada will provide distribution and radio promotion support to Road Angel Entertainment clients.

After many years working in marketing for major labels where she spearheaded artist development for some of Canada's leading country music artists, Snell-de Cartier co-founded the indie label Orange, working with Paul Brandt among many others. With the inception of Road Angel and in relationship with Ron Kitchener’s RGK Entertainment, Jill entered the management realm with Dean Brody and Road Angel Entertainment became the Canadian management firm to long time client Carolyn Dawn Johnson and manager and label for internationally acclaimed songwriter Tebey.

“I have always been a fan and have a lot of respect for Steve Kane, we go way back - as I do with many talented colleagues among the creative ranks at Warner,” says Jill Snell-de Cartier. “I think that it’s a wonderful new home for Road Angel and I feel like they are excited to have me as part of their team!”

“Over the years, Jill’s talent and energy are a huge benefit for the artists she takes under her wing. She has always proven to have a great ear discovering new artists” says Warner Music Canada President Steve Kane. “We are indeed pleased to work with her team on developing their upcoming releases”

Road Angel’s first releases through Warner Canada will include Tebey’s brand new album TWO which features 3 hit singles including the current top ten hit “Wake Me Up”, MacKenzie Porter’s new single "If You Ask Me To" and upcoming EP, brand new act Dragonfly and duo Keith and Renee to name a few.
