August 27th was a big day for music! Both Avenged Sevenfold and Goodie Mob dropped their new albums yesterday, each attracting critical acclaim from fans and critics alike. A legendary Atlanta based hip-hop group, Goodie Mob has returned after a fourteen year hiatus with their fourth studio album, Age Against the Machine. Grammy Award winning solo artist CeeLo Green will reunite with his bandmates for a tour across the United States next month, which will be the first time all four original members have toured together since 2009. The first single off the record, “Special Education” feat. Janelle Monae, is available for streaming here, and the album is available on iTunes here. Not only is Avenged Sevenfold’s Hail To The King now available everywhere, but fans can order a special, limited-edition box set of Hail To The King, featuring exclusive artwork, an exclusive Canvas Print, a 20-page photo book, and the official video for their first single off the album of the same name. You can get it here. Not convinced? Alternative Press confirms that this record is “an epic album indeed – and possibly their best to date”. Bow down to the kings!
