Dec 18, 2013

Bruno Mars has been named Billboard Magazine’s “2013 Artist of the Year” – an extraordinary honor to cap off an already incredible year. In addition to having one of the best-selling albums of the year with Unorthodox Jukebox, Billboard announced that Mars topped 8 of their 2013 Year-End charts, including “Hot 100 Artists” and “Top Overall Artists.”

What's more, Mars has also been named among the top nominees for the upcoming 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards. “Locked Out Of Heaven” received nods as “Record Of The Year” and “Song of the Year", and the multi-talented artist received two further nominations for “Best Pop Solo Performance” and “Best Pop Vocal Album”.

Mars is one of the most acclaimed artists of this or any other era, with Billboard hailing his work as “boldly ambitious and gloriously irreverent.” Congrats, Bruno!
